Destination management · India · Based in Mumbai
Your India programme, run by one ground team.
The Concierge DMC is a destination management company operating out of Mumbai. We handle arrivals, chauffeured transport, guides, charters and on-ground coordination in ten Indian cities — booked through one desk, delivered to one standard, settled on one invoice.

The short answer
What a destination management company actually does
A destination management company is the operator that executes an itinerary on the ground. You or your travel agent decide where the programme goes; the DMC supplies the vehicles, drivers, guides, permits, interpreters and airport handling that make it happen — and stays accountable when something changes at short notice.
Where the planning stops, we start
Agents and planners sell the trip. We are the licensed operator standing at the arrivals gate with the manifest, the vehicle already parked and the guide already briefed.
One contract across ten cities
Instead of appointing a separate vendor in every city, you appoint us once. Vehicle grades, briefing format, reporting and rates stay identical whether the movement is in Delhi or Kochi.
Accountable while it is happening
Flights slip, roads close, guests change their minds at breakfast. A duty coordinator holds the programme and re-sequences it — you hear about it once it is already solved.
Coverage
Ten cities under one operating standard
We hold coordinators and vetted supplier panels in each of these cities. Same vehicle grades, same briefing format, same escalation path — whichever airport your guests land at.
We also run programmes in Kolkata, Amritsar, Varanasi, Rishikesh, Jodhpur and Leh as extensions of a booked itinerary. Ask and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right operator for that leg.

Method
How an engagement runs
Four stages, in this order, on every programme we take.
Brief
Send the dates, the cities and the head count. A short call is enough — we do not need a finished itinerary to start work on one.
Plan and quotation
You get a written movement plan and an itemised quotation, with a price against every line, so it can be compared against anything else on your desk.
Ground execution
Your coordinator is named before arrival and reachable throughout. Vehicles, guides and charters are dispatched against the plan and tracked as they run.
Reconciliation
One consolidated invoice at the close, matched line for line against what was actually used. Services that were not used are not billed.
Who we work with
The programmes we run most often
Different clients need different things from a ground operator. These are the briefs we see most.

Corporate & MICE
Conferences, dealer meets, incentive groups and board visits. Delegate movement, venue liaison and airport handling for arrivals spread across a week.

Weddings & celebrations
Guest transport, family logistics and vendor movement for multi-day weddings in Udaipur, Jaipur, Goa and Mumbai.

Inbound leisure & families
Private guided travel for families and small groups arriving from Europe, the Gulf, North America and Southeast Asia.

Film, media & production
Unit movement, recce transport, permit liaison and fixer support for crews shooting on location across India.

Medical & wellness travel
Airport handling, hospital coordination and extended-stay assistance for patients and the family travelling with them.

Agency white-label
Ground handling delivered under your brand, on your rate sheet, for overseas agents who need one dependable India partner.
Operating standards
What we hold ourselves to
These are commitments, not adjectives. If we fail one of them on your programme, we would rather you told us than told someone else.
A named coordinator
Not a shared inbox. One person owns your programme from confirmation through to final invoice, with a second briefed on it as backup.
Quoted in full, up front
Itemised quotations with tolls, parking, driver allowances and taxes shown as separate lines. Nothing appears for the first time on settlement day.
Commercially operated vehicles
Every vehicle we dispatch carries commercial registration, valid interstate permits and passenger insurance. We will put the paperwork in front of you on request.
Vetted and briefed people
Chauffeurs, guides and assistants are background-checked, and briefed on your specific group before they meet it — names, preferences, sensitivities.
A duty desk that answers
Someone is awake and reachable on the number you were given, at every hour your guests are in the country.
Rate parity across cities
A vehicle grade costs what it costs, whether the movement runs in Mumbai or Kochi. Where we operate does not change the price list.
Common questions
Before you send a brief
What does a DMC cost compared with booking each vendor directly?
It depends on the shape of the programme. On a single airport transfer our price sits close to what a local operator would quote you directly. On a multi-city programme the difference shows up in coordination — one contract, one invoice and one accountable party instead of chasing a separate vendor in every city. We quote itemised, so you can compare us line by line against anything else.
How much notice do you need?
For chauffeured cars and airport handling, forty-eight hours is usually enough. Guides, coaches and peak-season wedding logistics want two to three weeks. Private jets and helicopters depend entirely on aircraft availability and clearances, so ask as early as you can — even before the trip is confirmed.
Do you work with travel agents, or only with end clients?
Both, and a large share of our work is white-label ground handling for agents and tour operators outside India. We quote you net, stay off your client’s paperwork, and let your branding be what the guest sees on the ground.
Which cities can you actually operate in?
The ten listed on this page are cities where we hold our own coordinators and vetted supplier panels. We do run programmes beyond them — Kolkata, Amritsar, Varanasi, Rishikesh and Leh among others — as extensions of a booked itinerary rather than as standalone bookings.
Are your guides properly licensed?
Yes. Guiding inside protected monuments requires a government licence for that site, so monument and heritage work is always handled by a guide who holds the relevant one. For city touring and special-interest programmes we also use subject specialists alongside the licensed guide.
Can you invoice a company directly?
Yes. We raise GST-compliant invoices to Indian and overseas entities with the itemised movement plan attached, so travel spend reconciles against a corporate account without anyone rebuilding it from receipts afterwards.
